Can you have anxiety and psychotic symptoms?

Can someone w/ sz have anxiety disorders like OCD, phobias, social anxiety, etc.? Can they also have other disorders like bipolar or depression?

Yep. I’m SZA bipolar and I have a lot of anxiety.
I experience depression, mania, anxiety, psychosis.
And my anxiety triggers psychosis.

Anxiety is common with Schizophrenia.
So is having a mood disorder like depression or bipolar, but then it’s called Schizoaffective.
I have Schizophrenia with bipolar disorder (Schizoaffective)

I also suffer with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and OCD.

Absolutely. I have GAD and panic attacks frequently. I am also psychotic.

I have paranoid schizophrenia and OCD.

With the help of CBT I’ve gained a lot of control over my OCD and anxiety.

I still struggle, but I’m not slave to it like I used to be.

I have sza and lots of anxiety. The anxiety causes me more problems than the sz part does. My sz just isn’t as stubborn. Anxiety is a moment to moment thing that I’m constantly compensating for.

Yes it’s possible. Before I was diagnosed with sz I had terrible panic attacks for five years in high school and social phobia too. Still sometimes get anxiety.
