How many people have a diagnosis of more than just schizophrenia? Like added depression or anxiety? Why do we get so lucky?
I have sza bipolar as well as dissociative identity disorder that’s been diagnosed since the early 1990s. Stems from early sexual abuse, so I also have PTSD.
Sza bipolar type ocd cptsd and autism
Sza bipolar type and PTSD
Sza bipolar, cptsd, anxiety, adhd but they can’t treat that because the meds would affect my sza.
I took meds for anxiety before psychosis, but I no longer take them. Don’t think I’m officially diagnosed with it anymore. Never see it on pdoc papers after I visit.
Yes, I have a few things on top of my SZ. Yes, I’m also lucky. I have two friends who are terminally ill right now. I’ll likely be alive for next Xmas. They won’t. Not sure the one will make this Xmas.
Attitude of gratitude.
Yikes. Sorry about your friends. I guess we are lucky in a sense. Could always be worse.

Sorry to hear about your friends’ condition, @shutterbug . Good to see you’ve got the right attitude of gratitude. I feel for your friends
I have been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, complex PTSD, major depressive disorder, psychosis and now schizophrenia.
Woohoo!!
I have PTSD as well.
Is there a sneer behind that comment?
I had a meeting with a psy and after really questioning me about hearing voices. Which i dont. He determined that im schizoaffective.
I have undiagnosed DID and self diagnosed misophonia, witch has improved, plus a definite addiction to feel good drugs that are illegal. I’m not an alcoholic because it affects me so poorly.
