Like taking A levels? Or are you only allowed to study part-time?
I did an access course. I think you would be ok doing that as it’s only a day and a half a week. After one year you can go to University. If you don’t have an income, you get lots of grants and bursaries that would most likely be better than ESA
it is possible to get ESA whilst you are in full time education, if you meet certain rules.

I went to university while on disability living allowance
I got my Bachelor’s and then my Master’s while paying the rent and buying food with my disability. I got grants for low income people that actually paid my tuition and books. It was great and I wish I could’ve stayed in school forever. Now I can’t even hold a stupid job tho cuz I have such a hard time dealing with people. Books were easy compared to people.
Are you in the US? I’m just curious on how to get grants
No, the UK. 515115
Ah, ok 1515151515
Yes, I’m in the US. The easiest grant to get is the Pell Grant. If you’re low income, the Pell Grant is given every fall and spring semester and can be gotten by filling out the FAFSA each year. Other grants require a bit of searching just to see what’s available and generally are performance based, meaning you have to keep your grades up. Also, check out your school’s disability resource center, as there are plenty of scholarships out there for disabled people, but the applications for these can be tedious and, honestly, there seems to be many more available for folks with physical disabilities. The resources are out there but require a bit of digging and work to get them but it’s well worth it if you don’t ever have to get loans that bog you down.
My parents make too much for me to get federal aid. I wonder if that still counts when I go for my masters. We will see I guess. I will try for merit based aid though, I just have to keep my GPA above a 3.5
In Scotland as far as i am aware you can study 15hrs or less a week and get a fee waiver but its hard finding a part time course like that i think.
I did it for 2 years studying care but had to leave half way through the second year, but i didnt lose anything except maybe my dignity a little
Yah I wish I lived in a country with a little more support. Does Scotland have the NHS? I’m jealous of that system. I can’t afford any more hospital trips if I want to go to grad school.
