Starting to question it again
I am psychotic 24/7 regardless of the state of my pupils, which change according to lighting conditions. The fact that you think this matters could be considered a delusional belief. I have strong insight, which is how I function in spite of ongoing positive symptoms.
Might be but I struggle with getting rid of it

My pupils are normal and I have psychosis every day from intentional lose dose AP
There’s no relationship between pupil dilation and psychosis.
Why do I always read about it tho
Here’s the a.i. answer to your question :
Yes, it is possible to experience psychosis without having dilated pupils. While pupil dilation can be a symptom of psychosis, it is not a definitive indicator. Psychosis involves a range of symptoms, including hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking, which are not solely dependent on pupil size43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa16205443dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054.
Pupil dilation can be influenced by various factors, such as lighting conditions, emotional state, and certain medications. Therefore, it is not a reliable diagnostic tool for psychosis on its own43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa16205443dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054.
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of psychosis, it is important to seek professional help for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Mental health professionals can provide a comprehensive evaluation and recommend appropriate interventions.
Yes. I thought pupils were dilated by things like a concussion.
We gotta find reasons to prove we don’t have something. I think I do that too. Doesn’t do me much good dwelling this much but I do and I can’t help it.
My eyes are semi dilated all the time
The optician I saw this week said that’s not helping my light sensitivity
Also have a scar inside my eye from when I got punched when I was 12 by someone with a chain round their fist
He told me that I was lucky as if it was in a slightly different place I might have lost my vision in that eye

Im sorry that you are struggling with insight again @Crystal-Cotton . Almost all of us, if not all, have periods like this.
Why do you think that?
Because Ive been in the same situation. Denying that I am psychotic. Its easy when you are in the midst of believing things to think everything is real and its everyone else that is wrong and there is nothing wrong with your thinking. Almost all of us have had that problem at one time or another. Its nothing to be ashamed of Crystal. Its not our fault.
i just feel like im not delusional
I know. I am just coming out of an episode. I felt exactly the same way Crystal. I was almost sure that I was right and everyone else was wrong. Its tough. I dont know what else that I can say to you. Just try to have an open mind, I guess.
I feel like if I’m being honest to the people who treat me that I’m exaggerating…
its probably best to be honest with the people who treat you. That isnt always easy, though. I have not told my psychiatrist every delusion that I have ever had. Just try to be as honest as possible, I guess, Crystal. The more that they know, the more they can try to address the issues.
I really do know how hard that is, though, Crystal. For real.
I just think I have no hope because of autism and sz
