How stupid am i getting a car, its a hybrid but its still wrecking the environment

If you live in the US there’s not much you can do about it. Infrastructure is designed for cars.
Just drive when it’s necessary and walking more when you can

I feel terrible like i am part of the problem, i feel shamed.
Maybe you can do other stuff to save the environment to make up for having a car if it bugs you that much. Recycling for instance. Or we have organizations or groups in the U.S. that volunteer to go out to creeks and outdoor areas that are overrun with trash and clean them out.

I do what i can to help out the environment but the car is a big issue for me even though its a hybrid, I recently got an ebike but I’ve not ben able to use it the last 2 weeks. The weather is pretty bad tonight so i am very worried about the environment.

Only drive it as much as you have to. People need to get around, that can’t be avoided.

I might try and get the train a bit more then, I find it hard getting the bus & train though.
I used the train for 6 weeks before it burnt me out, i also tried using the buses and it was too hard, the buses were the hardest.
I hate to break it to you but majority of all the products that we get shipped by boat in containerships run on bunker fuel. Its the worst polluting fuel out there, just thick black bunker oil.
So stick it to the corporations and not the little old ladies tryin to drive to the supermarket

I won’t even try using the transit system in Calgary when I’m there. I have a thing about getting stabbed. I just drive.

I don’t drive anymore.
I live in the city center and can do most things by foot. If I have to go to another city I drive along or take the train. I don’t like taking 
so I don’t. If I have to go abroad there are also the options of the HST or 
.
Luckily there is good public transport in Belgium.
We pay a lot of taxes for it.
