Can I take Seroquel and Lexapro?

it says there’s a major interaction.

I need a calming antidepressant, and this one looks good. I absolutely can not sleep without 50mg Seroquel.

I love Lexapro, but I don’t love that major interaction.

Have you tried Effexor? My sister is on it and says it’s very calming - in her case, it’s prescribed for anxiety. The interaction there is moderate, but at least it’s better than major.

Effexor raises my blood pressure and when I first went nuts, I was on Effexor with other stuff. So it kind of freaks me out.

When I was in jail, they called Effexors pink panthers. I think that they thought it was stimulating.

I take lexapro daily and seroquel prn, no bad effects on me.

I take similar combination: Seroquel and Zoloft. It works well in a synergistic way for me. I see Lexapro is also an anti-depressant of the SSRI class. I think synergy is the key here, if your doctor thinks it’ll work well for you like it does for me.

I knew someone that took that combo and had some heart side effects.

@Samp …but have a lot of negative and cognitive symptoms ,medicine give damn about it…i am never satisfied…!!! hope it work great with u…!!! good luck for it…!!!
