I am a civil engineer working full time. You can study and work as well. But in my case I have full family support. Whenever i needed or before an delusional episode my family member take me to the pdoc for change of meds. Its very important in schizophrenia. Otherwise your career effect badly. Schizophrenia symptoms can’t be judged before in time by yourself.

Ye i will stay on meds
I was working as an online teacher for two years straight without break. I’m also thinking about working as a peer counselor in the near future. I just quit my job as a teacher. I am happy I worked but also happy that I am not anymore. I say this because I was working for low wages and slave hours. So, work is nice but the circumstances also matter. The grass is not always greener on the other side. I like working but know I have limitations. I did well as a teacher. This has given me confidence to work again in some capacity.

I don’t think we all are a little schizophrenic I think some people may say things that may seem delusional but not everyone has it
