I’m not sure I’m understanding the point of writing an entire “stream of consciousness” thread using metaphors and ambiguous language. It just seems like misunderstanding is likely going to happen or at the very least no one is sure what the OP is talking about. Bear in mind that this forum is not a blog; rather it’s meant to encourage dialogue.

oh. in that case, i’ll make the thread for poets and poetesses only. i’ll put the thread in Creativity. i’ll define the word “metaphorically” in the first post of the thread as well as repeat the thread title.
the thread would be a great place for poets to share similar metaphors pertaining to the thread topic. like a little poetry thread for poets! i hope other mods see this as an acceptable idea. i don’t see how this thread would offend poets, poetesses, and anyone who understands the word “metaphorically.”

Just a gentle reminder that early on when you first joined the forum you ran into some issues because of the content of your poetry. You’ve also mentioned having similar issues on other forum(s).
Ultimately, you will need to make your own decision on what to post.

@SzAdmin, @Rhubot, ninjastar, Jayster, Treebeard, I wish to hear your opinion about this thread idea as well, whenever you have the chance. i really like the idea of metaphor and poetry; and the Creativity section is a good place to express such things. the thread can also help artistic mi people who are recovering from certain activities too, i feel. i’m sorry if i’m not currently aware of the damage that such a thread might cause unto others. it’s not my intention to offend people in this community.
