McGovern partly lost his bid to become president in 1972 against Nixon when it came out in the news that his running mate, Thomas Eagleton, had been hospitalized three times for depression and had undergone electric shock treatments.

We have someone who supposedly has a personality disorder who became president. Although personality disorders are less taxing on someones life

I think a few of them qualify for one or more personality disorders

I personally think you would have to be mentally ill to want to do that job.
