I saw a dietician for a year and calorie counted. I’ve stopped seeing the dietician and also calorie counting fatigue has set in so I’ve stopped calorie counting. Unsurprisingly the weight is returning.
Trying to lose weight is like trying to keep a table tennis ball under water. You can do it for a while then you get tired and once you take the pressure off It’s all over.
Initially I was all about losing weight. I decided to exercise , two months later I stopped. I’ve only lasted a few days with diets.
Now , i don’t exercise but if I am going out I walk. I’ll walk to my gp or the shopping centre. If it’s too far I’d get off a stop or two early and walk. Take the stairs. Now this is something I know I can do so it’s not something I’ll quit.
Also for me I find it difficult to lose weight with pcos so I just focus on trying to be healthy and not gaining rather than losing
I was never good at calorie counting, I just try really hard not to eat as much and when I grocery shop try not to buy junk food, sometimes i can go without eating much, sometimes I fall off the wagon. Over all though the shopping thing works the best, I also don’t keep a lot of food on hand, so no snacks mean I have to cook when I go to the fridge and often just pass.
So far my lazy diet seems to be keeping the lbs off
