I mean if you were sick wouldnā€™t you want to be cured? Perhaps truth is the cure for this whats being called a sickness. But I still think that true love is not a sickness

Cure means only pdoc appointment, if your love is hard and true then you sure need it. Because in love you need to improve yourself and it goes to grandiose thought.

Delusions can lead us to to a lot of negative things like grandiose thoughts, but that doesnā€™t mean we should simply stop improving ourselves. We should fight against adversity, but perhaps doing it while dealing with schizophrenia demands a lot of bravery. We can do it!

Love is not a transaction where you give something for the person and in return you get something. Where transaction is involved there is no love.

Love means to love someone without expecting anything in return even if they are with someone else like in a relationship can you still love them? Even if you cannot talk to them or meet them can you still love them?

Love is unconditional.

My question is if love is the reason the universe was created then why is there so many wars fights hunger poverty disease?

That is true we can still love people from afar. I would say not just the giving of gifts and tangible things but of your attention and presence. That makes It non Transactional in a way. Another reason its not transactional is because transactions have to do with geting what you want for a cost.

Here we are not doing that but giving and giving no matter what we receive back and not for us but for the other person.

yeah. he chose someone else, but I still loved him madly. may have been superficial, he was star athlete, and homecoming king,

but he was also Catholic, like me.

Well I get what you are saying but you would give attention and presence only when you like someone so you give your time and get their company in return.

What if one day the other person does something that you donā€™t likeā€¦ would you still give your time to them?

So I think love can only come when you see everything from a non-judgmental perspectiveā€¦ love should not and cannot depend on likes and dis-likes.

Also look it nature itself ā€¦ let us take air for example :

If today you beat someone up on the street for no reason would air stop providing you oxygen?

Air is non judgemental same for all. Same with other aspects of nature.

Also take your own body for example ā€¦ would your heart beat stop if you drink alcohol because itā€™s bad for the body? Noā€¦ your body also doesnā€™t judge you.

Every aspect of the nature is non judgemental same for all.

Can that be called love? See for yourself.

Love need not be with a person alone ā€¦ one can be love itself wherever he/she is and with whomever they are.

Actually thatā€™s what true love is. Loving even when others hurt you. Iā€™m not perfect but at least In principle yes one should love even if they get nothing In return. I think that that is love and know that itā€™s achieve able
