Calcium pills throwing up

Does it make you throwup? Most of the time regardless if I eat or not, calcium pills make me throwup. I think it has too much calcium, 1500mg giving 600mg elemental absorbed calcium. The mutlivitamin pill alone doesn’t make me throw up and it has 250mg calcium.

My brothers throw up from it too. Its from Costco, Kirkland 1500mg Calcium.

The pill is too big too.

My guess is you should stop taking calcium pills. Im no doctor, but that is my theory.

Sounds dodgy to me. I have a vitamin pill I take once a day on docs advice, and that has calcium as the main ingredient.

I have an everyday health a-z multi-vitamin and minerals tablets from Aldi

Pretty sure the all in one would be better than nothing at all

I read that we need 1000mg elemental calcium daily. I don’t drink much milk and don’t eat cheese anymore. I guess I can drink soy milk, it has calcium.

How much calcium does your supplement have? 1500mg?

It says 240mg and 30%

Guess it’s better than nothing.

My doc said I need them to try and counter the damage to my bones from prolactin, caffeine and nicotine

Are you trying to get 100% of your daily needs for calcium in a supplement?

More like 70% as I just drink a bit of milk with my Nescafe and don’t eat cheese. I think I will just drink soy milk, it has 30% calcium per cup.

aNd there is almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk too fortified with calcium

I drink almond milk

Doesn’t coconut milk have too much saturated fat and calories? I drank it once and it wasn’t pleasant, too heavy.
