Caffeine reset

I use caffeine pills daily to help me stay awake and stop meds sedation. It seems that after several months it loses it efficacy so I have to stop it for a few weeks then start again.

Yeah, our brains can become dependent on caffeine, just to feel normal. I can’t think of the word, but it makes us not get the full effect, after a while.

I try to skip caffeine for a few days, here and there. I should probably do that soon…

Coffee doesn’t have a big impact on me anymore. Still I drink it all day long.

Let us know how the caffeine withdrawal works for you and if it helps.

It kept me awake for the most part at work while on Seroquel and Aripiprazole. I had a cup every hour. Guess it became an addiction. To this day.

Good luck on that @anon67051439 I wonder if caffeine pills are more potent.

The ones I use are 200mg per tablet. Sometimes I cut the tablet in half with a pill cutter to get 100mg.

I sometimes take tolerance breaks as well. Usually around the time I can have 4 cups in 9 hours and still be braindead.

Braindead - do you mean drowsy or cognitively?

Both.
Too drowsy for the braincells to do their job.

Caffeine does not give me energy but makes me angry when I’ve had too much. Believe it or not.
