Broken eggs with chorizo! Have you tried it?

Straight from la tienda :yum:

Do you have something similar in your country?

I always have chorizo.

It’s an awesome ingredient and super good with eggs and potatoes.

I usually make breakfast burritos with it.

Where I live we usually have Mexican chorizo. You can get it at most Mexican restaurants, Spanish grocery stores and even our local grocery chains. Though the stuff from the grocery chains isn’t authentic it’s still tasty.

Chorizo isn’t a common ingredient in my part of Canada, but I do enjoy it when I can get my hands on it.

Mexican chorizo is soft and has a smoother consistency I think.

Dried Spanish chorizo is a great base for sauces??? Oz will say I’m wrong prob

Nah i think you’re right. I’m no chorizo expert but I think the Spanish stuff comes in links while Mexican is ground. At least that’s how my local Spanish grocery store has them.

I honestly don’t know. It is not an ingredient I have much experience with.

Bard says that it is often used as a base for soups and stews and rices
