Question about Mexican food

I tried the most delicious Mexican dish today, called “pollo chorro”.

Have any of you tried this dish at another Mexican restaurant or know if it’s common dish? It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of it before.

I looked at the translation of the term from Spanish to English and it means “chicken jet” according to google.

I asked my mom and she said that she’s never heard of it although it might be short for “Pollo Churrasco” which is short for rotiserie chicken.

A popular chain of Mexican Restaurants here is called “El Pollo Loco”. I don’t know how they get away with that.

in my village theres a restaurant that serves mixed type of food… some western, some thai and some mexican… they have chicken burrito and quasedillas. it’s quite good.

I’m getting nachos supreme tonight

Will take pics!

I only like authentic not americanized and that goes for every culture of food. My favorite hispanic recipe is with Carne Guisada, fresh avocados, rice, and homemade corn tortillas

the place i go to markets themselves as “authentic mexican food” specifically!

Nope never tried it. I adore Mexican food though. It’s the only type of food I could eat continuously for every meal and not get sick of it. (Discovered that during my Mexico trip several years back lol)

anyone eat mango on a stick? We have this site at the local flea market where they serve most fruit on a stick for you. You pick which one you want and then they peel it, shave it and stick it. Pretty good.
