I have a picked knife. It’s more of a utility knife type thing. It’s got scissors and screw drivers and a file. That sort of thing. I use it often. It really comes in handy.
Carrying a knife over a certain blade length is an automatic prison sentence in the uk
Guys, let’s not fall into negative stigma traps. People with schizophrenia are statistically no more likely to commit violent crimes than the general population. The biggest predictor of future violence is a history of previous violence, followed by drug abuse.
Carrying any kind of potential weapon when you are diagnosed with a severe mental illness is asking for trouble, especially where I am from.
It’s just a bad idea overall.
If someone attacks you, would you use it?
pray to god this doesn’t happen. It won’t tbh
pocket knives have many uses
so does the baseball club or axe.
Pocket knives are illegal here.
I don’t know the law in the UK. Scary thing I noticed today. There were two stabbing incidents in two separate places since yesterday and I was by both of them today n not aware of this til I saw the news now
I don’t see anything wrong with carrying a pocket knife. A billion damn people carry them. Billions of them are sold all around the world. There is not an epidemic of people getting killed by pocket-knives. There’s a huge chasm between carrying one because they’re cool and they come in handy and using it against another person. Suggesting that someone with schizophrenia can’t carry a pocket knife is perpetuating stigma.
