My old heater was broken a few days ago. Yesterday I bought a cute new heater from an online shop. It looks very slim yet pretty powerful. The best thing about it is the price. It is 35 US$. This is one of the good things when you live in China

My heat has been broken the last 5 days. The last 2, the circuit breaker keeps blowing. Maintenance swapped my unit with the one in the apartment next door. If the circuit breaker blows again, they will know it’s the wiring. Not the heating unit itself. I just hope it doesn’t blow again. In the meantime, my case manager lent me a space heater. It works well. The temperature is going to go to 27 degrees F tonight (-2.778 degrees C).

Gawd…we are moving into summer. I’m already walking around the house without a shirt! I love the toasty weather it’s so invigorating!

This makes me laugh. I’m always teasing my older sister because she bases a lot of her purchases by how cute something is. She buys purses, shoes, art because it’s cute. She picks her clothes her dogs, cars etc because “they are cute”. And she is 60 years old, lol! And when she takes me clothes shopping for my clothes she always holds up a shirt and says, “Buy this, it’s so cute” . And I have to tell her I couldn’t care less about how cute something is.
