My bank is closing it’s downtown branch and I live downtown. Had to change banks and was dealing with this this morning. Been lying in bed bored this Saturday afternoon.
I guess there’s worse things than being bored …
Just trying to keep things within walking distance. When my 2002 Toyota goes, I won’t be able to buy another. I bought it used in 2005 when I lived in mother’s house and she co-signed the loan.
My bank only has one branch. It’s in San Antonio. I live 8 hours from there. Have never visited the branch.
I am bored too. Living in a hotel room for the next month. But yes it beats being psychotic.
I’m talking to myself.im pretty sure the above people could make fun of me. Headphones
Well I have to go to the branch to get quarters to do laundry with.
Why are you living in a motel room?
Excuse me hotel room.
I am out of town working for a month. I flew here last Sunday. Don’t fly back home unti May 18th so I have a little while left.
You must be lonely.
I am around people during the week. I just don’t have anything to do this weekend. I wanted to work today but they don’t want to pay me overtime. Did my laundry already but next weekend I am driving to Phoenix to see my son. It’s only 4 hours from here.
We are going to see the new Avengers movie and take in a ball game so it will be a good time.
The good thing about my new bank is they allow you to specify a Pay on Death person. I put down my AA Sponsor as I don’t have any family locally who could go to a branch with a death certificate. He’s 37 years old and I’m 58, so he should out live me.
They also gave me a credit card, but I haven’t seen the paperwork or the interest rate.
Sounds like fun. I used to go to ballgames with my grandfather when I was a boy. Mother was divorced and my father disappeared so I was raised in my grandparents house. Mother worked, and Grandma looked after me and my sister.
