I’m waiting on a call back from my employer’s corporate office. I called two hours ago and left a message, hope I’m not waiting around for nothing. I’m afraid to really go anywhere and do anything, since I don’t like answering my phone while I’m driving, and I don’t want to miss this call. If I stay home all day (until the end of the business day, anyway) and no one calls me back I’m going to be pissed.

Not to bring anybody down, but Im sitting in bed depressed and avoiding work. My babysitter is stealing from me and I have to fire her. My kids are very attached to her. I hate switching babysitters.
Im planning on getting up eventually and starting the day even though its almost 11 here. Its never too late I guess.
It’s beautiful in my part of the U.S. Sunny and 70s, how about where you’re at? Well, it’s supposed to storm later, but we’ll see.
Have you confronted her about this behavior yet?

Sorry to hear about your babysitter, but if she’s stealing she’s got to go. I know I hate conflict, avoid it whenever I can.

Its an oppressive 81 here and its supposed to rain shower soon for the rest of the day.
I clicked on “play all” for YouTube’s “watch it again” videos, and this is what’s playing right now, cracks me up lol.
Don’t fire her, setup a nanny can, catch her stealing and extract some vengeance
We gave her a credit card to use to get McDonalds and stuff for the kids, and to get gas for the car. She spent over $2500 in the month of May. $1000 of that was at Walmart ( buying groceries and clothes for her kid I presume) and even charged her utilities to the credit card. I suspect she was using the card to fill up her car too just because of the amount of gas station charges that were on the card in a month.
Problem is I like her as a person. Her son is 2 and her son and my three year old play together. My one year old is going to be upset by a new face.
I just dont know why she would think she could get away with something like that. I guess she must want another job. I wish I wouldve listened to the person who warned us that she had stolen from them. I thought it was just sour grapes because she wouldnt date him. Now I have to uppend my whole family and listen my kids asking me where she is.
I took the credit card away from her because I told her I needed to check some charges and she hasnt asked for it back and she is just acting like nothing is wrong. I dont think she has a conscience or she would at least be a little concerned.
So is the Portuguese language basically like a cross between Spanish and French? I mean, I know it’s its own language, but when I’ve seen it in print (I’ve never heard it spoken, except in songs by Soulfly and Sepultura) it just looks like a cross between Spanish and French. Maybe this was a dumb question …
Wow, that’s messed up. I wish I had good advice for you, other than to fire her and possibly file a criminal complaint with the police.
After I took the credit card from her she even asked me if I would pick her up from her surgery appt next Wednes. She cant work for 10 days after it or something so I guess its good timing at least.
How old is she? Just wondering if she’s a teenager who still thinks she can get away with anything.
