Bodybuilding

I’m thinking of trying to become a bodybuilder I’ve been losing weight BUT I’m curious what are the dangers of steroids to the heart and mental health

And is there legal types

Also I heard they can cause other side effects like testicle shrinkage that’s permanent is that ACTUALLY true

dude dont you have heart problems? do not take them man they will kill even a healthy person. They are nothing but trouble. you might as well be asking if you should start sniffing pepsi. Steroids are HORRIBLE for your body. The only positive is the short term physical look. nothing else good comes from it. even after you stop them they continue to plague your body. like you mentioned your testicles shut down and stop producing testosterone. Then you have to take exogenous (synthetic) testosterone for the rest of your life. But the main thing is many people die from them. there no poitn in taking them longterm.

There is no healthy amount of steroids for your heart condition or mine. Also the extreme stress you’d put on your heart to get really jacked is a no-go. Can you gain some muscle and look better? Yes. That’s actually what I’m doing right now. Am I ever gonna beat Mr. Beefcake a.k.a. @POET in shirts off posing? Not ever.

Go for some modest improvement and if that is too easy, then by all means push it some more.

I’m wondering and you can tell me to “f off” If you want but how old were you when you got diagnosed with your heart condition and how old are you now

I’m worried I’m not gonna live a long life that’s why I’m asking your age and I know a lot of people don’t wanna say how old they are

All the things you’ve heard are true. Once you get into the more dangerous steroids, such as Tren, then you really put your heart on the line, especially if you have prior heart conditions.

Steroids aren’t worth it, even at micro dosing. However, I think there needs to be more research and studies done on the beneficial aspects of steroids. But this is not the primary focus of your post and I don’t wish to change the subject.

So, ultimately, steroids aren’t even needed if you have good genes and do the right things. Will they make you bigger than natty bodies, yes, but you can still look good. And also, congratulations on the weight loss.

I’m 56, going on 57 in November. I think they discovered I had the heart condition when I was around two. I would go into fibrillation if I did something too cardio intensive.

I dont know anything about steroids. But I do want to get fit again. I more-so want to just get skinny though. Not keen on being huge and muscly as heck.

Im sure you could pack on some gains if you just work hard at it bro. No need to cheat with roids I reckon!

How old are you? You can go to the doctor and get your testosterone checked out, if it’s way to low they prescribe trt which helps with muscle building. But just try to go to the gym and f around no need to be perfect about it

looool thanks man but yea as for steroids believe me i know the temptation. when i was training every day making zero progress i wont say i was close to taking them but yea i can understand 100% where @AwesomeFisherman is coming from. it sucks to put in all the work and get close to no results but, i educated myself on the topic watching videos on it every day and realized the short term effects are VERY short lived. When you stop taking them you dont keep the mass youve built. you quickly shrink back down. not only that your nuts stop working and you take years off your life. it messed up your internal organs. liver, heart, kidneys, they all going to go to ■■■■. dont want to see you dying my dude!

Nutrition is very important when bodybuilding. If you don’t have your diet in check, you won’t get results.

Steroids can cause psychosis.

Check Jeff Nippard out on YouTube. He’s a natural bodybuilder. I like his channel.

Dangerous substance. Even Arnie had heart surgery later on in life. Google how many pro card holders died from heart complications.

yeah I heard of “roid rage” I heard one time it’s a myth tho

If it caused manic psychosis I’d be in real ■■■■ too personally I’ve had euphoric mania before and I’m pretty sure if it did that I’d be using just for that and I’d eventually die of heart disease

It’s a bad idea I just wanted to know how safe it could be using them I’m joining a gym this fall

I also need to point out that the gorgeous natural tan you were born with is cheating. I’ve got a goofy @$$ #whiteboy tan going this summer that is beyond ridiculous. Arms and legs nice and brown? Check! Hands and feet chicken white? Check check! White strip at top of tanned forehead from hat? Check check checking out. Ugh.

Evander holyfield had also these types of problems. He was a light heavyweight in 1984 during the Olympic games and finish his carrer with 20 or 25 kilos more in heavyweight category !

I read also that mike Tyson used steroids and that His natural weight was 85 kilos but not 100 kilogrammes !

I do sport like walk, home biking and i’ll buy soon a rowing machine on amazon but i don’t dream to take steroids or others shitty dopés , i prefer a Natural body with less muscles.

go natty. regardless of if you take steroids or dont, you still have to put in the work and lots of it. and regardless of steroids or not, if you put in the work you will definitely get results. save your heart, and even save your nads from being dysfunctional
