I started Blues lessons on youtube today:
How to play Acoustic Blues Guitar | Beginners Lesson (Part 1)
He is pretty good and clear.
I have a problem though that can’t be remedied.
I have small hands!
I simply cannot use the fingers he uses to reach the notes and that is on a small scale guitar.
He uses his third finger when I have to use my pinky.
When he uses his pinky I have to slide up the guitar.
I guess I just have to be quicker and more agile.
I guess to be a true prodigy you have to genetically have massive hands to play guitar
Anybody else want to take up these free lessons.
Half an hour and you will have the basic 12 step blues nailed in 3 styles.

That’s awesome man… I would but I already have a master class on guitar I want to take first. Feel like my basics are still lacking

Excuses! And more excuses! The guitar is not a big instrument. You just need to get used to the stretch @labratmat
Usually it’s a technique problem. You need to sit down with a good posture and use your left hand thumb (behind the neck) clever, so it creates enough space for your fingers to reach “difficult” positions.
