Blaming others for all the problems in your life

great topic. i just feel like i’ve been victimized so i look who to blame. simple as that.

but you guys are inspirational here – it isn’t nice to blame.

I think blaming happens when someone is subjected to something they hated but were helpless to stop. If it helps any, you might consider that your victimizer was probably a victim himself. It seems that most young boys who were vicitimized become victimizers. My dad was powerless to help himself. I think he did try to stop, but he couldn’t.

I used to blame my Father on a lot of things. When I took care of my Mom we had long talks about him. I learned a lot and now I understand how he was. I would give anything just to have five minutes with my Father. I miss both of my parents a great deal.

Yes, we know, but a lot of others use this approach to literally dump their garbage upon the other others.

Then the other others have to waste time dumping it back upon the other others other.
Then the other others other dumps it back on the other others other other.
Then the other others other other has to again waste time dumping it back upon the other others other others other.
Then…

I don’t normally blame my parents, but when I do I go all out.

Dirty hypocrites!

The older I get the more I appreciate my parents and what they did. I cried on my birthday because I miss my Mom and Dad so much and I wanted to talk to them.

I think once we accept our mental illness the less blame needs to be handed out about who we know? I don’t blame myself and I don’t blame others…it’s just the way it is.
