This is why doctors hate prescribing them.

In the UK from what I have experienced family doctors do not like prescribing them. I have to get them from the psychiatrist and that is the only person who can put you on them for any length of time.
Longest I was on a benzo was a year, and I stopped it myself.
My withdrawal was pretty bad, but I reduced down fairly rapidly and was glad to be off them.
i last took klonopin the beginning of this month, its been weird, some days im ok other days i experience so much that that i get suicidal. i dont like the way ive been feeling but i know that going back on it for me didnt help much and it would take longer for me to taper than the whole amount of time ive been taking it.
