I took my cat to the vet this am. They said she has a heart mur mur and the vet wants to see her in two weeks. Treated her for fleas and vaccines. I’m scared I’m going to lose her so soon. She’s our baby.

But if I’m not mistaken a heart murmur in cats can be manageable depending on the underlying cause.
I know it’s not easy but try not to worry until her next vet visit

It is. On her info she’s about 8 years old.she was a stray but she’s a wonderful sweet kitty.

I really hope that Bella is okay.
If it helps at all, we had a dog with a heart murmur. She was also around eight at the time. She lived for several more years, and cats have a better life span than my breed of dog did.

My dog had a serious heart murmur and was on heart medication and lived well to 15 years. I think there will be options for Bella

The vet said the same thing. She wants to X-ray her heart in two weeks.
