I fear flying too. Haven’t been flying in maybe 9 years, ever since I experienced extreme turbulence on a plane.

I had good experiences in California, I was there in Aug 2000 and Feb 2001. I drove from Miami to LA and San Francisco. It is the good State to visit. It takes 3.5 days to drive from Miami to LA.

I’m impressed.
When I moved from South Carolina to the bay area here in California,
It took five days.
Not counting the time it took to have our moving truck fixed, then replaced.
Took my parents 2 days from Oklahoma.

I miss the Bay, I moved away in 2013 and have only visited once since.

I just drove. I lived in my car and slept in my car. I may have speeded a little. It just took 3.5 days.
