My Blue Jays came so close to making the playoffs. We were only 1 game behind the Red Sox! Heartbraking. I love baseball.

Oh man! The Jays offense was ridiculous this year. They made a good run, I think had they had a home base (less travel, more supportive fans) they’d be in. The future looks bright for them.

Jays were lacking good pitchers for a while. Then they got some good ones late and did good

I stopped watching baseball after 2006.

White Sox cuz they played at Field of Dreams this summer.

Must be good luck.

I sure wish Detroit Tigers had made that list

That was a cool game. I only saw the highlights but the rows of corn in the outfield gave it a mythical feel.

yeah. I didn’t watch it, or catch it, but would like to see the outfielders chase the ball down into the corn field.
Would it be fair ball? ha.

@Daze: If you ran out to the cornfield, Kevin Costner appeared and whispered.”if you build it, they will come.”

@LilyoftheValley: How did you become a Tigers fan?

@Pandy: you should watch this season, the playoffs. Get back into it, being a fan can be a lotta fun!

no I meant fair ball. if it went into the cornfield. what happens?

i think there was a wall separating the field of play from the cornfield

uh ah! then how would the ghost players get thru??

I’ve been there. this is my state. I really don’t believe there’s a wall.

Circket really is a better sport. You can score all around the wicket and you have similar skills without the gloves…and a cricket ball is way harder.

@daze: from what i remember, it was a good game, decided by a late home run.
and a wall in the outfield would’ve ruined the movie, but there was a wall irl

@rogueone: I’ll only disagree since I’ve never played cricket, only seen some clips on ESPN when something outstanding happens. The ball used… is it lighter than a baseball? Looks like it would hurt trying to catch one without a glove

Fair cop…The cricket ball is twine wrapped cork core with a hard outer casing of leather. The leather is shellaced so it’s rock hard and moves similar to a baseball. I’ve broken fingers and split webbing trying to catch a cricket ball. You don’t see that in baseball! haha.

well, don’t be giving that to me so nothingness light-hearted, way it is.

it breaks my heart, if there was a wall there.

no wonder you have all that gear when batting. the helmet looks like a hockey goalie’s mask. but then why no gloves?

haha…yeah gloves only for the wicket keeper. Everyone else just uses hands. The protective equipement is necessary!

Base Ball I used to play in old video game the ones with cartridge, my favorite part was how I could make the ball, break the laws of physics.
