I just found this out today. I just warned one of my friends who has guns:
It seems to be getting too complicated having guns nowadays.

Outstanding. Faster please.
Well I just got through looking at an organization for LGBT people who support gun ownership and defending yourself. There’s a Texas chapter of the organization but not one in Arkansas. It’s interesting that there’s a New York chapter as well. I going to probably join when I have an extra $60 membership fee, $25 for students, military, and seniors.
I guess in the US there’s always a place where you can fit in.
I can’t own guns anymore…I pop up as “flagged” on the NICS background check since I had a civil commitment for 30 days on my record. Technically, I could buy one from an individual, but if I was caught I’d be charged with a federal felony…I just won’t risk it. I’m glad, tho, cuz I used to have guns and constantly thought of using them to kill myself.
My cousin who was in the military and ended up having Sz along with me committed suicide using a gun. My thoughts about that was if someone really wants to kill themselves there’s probably not much you can do other than try to get them committed to a psychiatric hospital.
