I was hospitalised at 18 after two years of living in hell, and dx with a psychotic episode.

Now my pdoc want to hospitalise me again for a new dz because that the only way I can get a new dz and maybe better treatment
I just ignored my first psychotic episode… and went ahead…!!! I am 32 now … but my diagnosed is still lingering…!!

I was diagnosed at age 21 (1985). However I was removed from class in the 2nd grade and sent to the school nurse because my teacher said that I was aloof (1972).
First went in hospital age 18 and diagnosed schizophrenia had positive symptoms and negative symptoms also
Diagnose at age 23 i might have had it since 16 but my symptoms didnt show really or flare up till 23
In was in such a bad shape I thought it was normal
I was 18.33 when I got my first diagnosis although I’d been seeing a pdoc for about 18 months, so I opted for 18-24.
My avatar didn’t show up on the poll but I was diagnosed with sza when I was 34 years old. Before that it was bipolar. Before that it was major depression, recurrent and severe.
I was 35 when I became full blown psychotic…I was prodromal for the three years before that…

I’d fought for a diagnosis in Norway and got nowhere. Then I moved to Denmark and got a diagnosis within a few months.
I was 20 or 21 years old, diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
I was placed on Navane, a powerful typical AP.
