Had a depressive break in late 1993 at 23 years of age. Went psychotic in september 1999 so diagnosed schizophenic late 1999 at 29 years of age!

I got sick in 2008. I was 38. I didn’t get diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia until 2010 though but that’s always what it was and I didn’t accept the fact that I had it until 2014.
I was a late bloomer.

I was diagnosed with sza at age 29 (2011), but I’ve heard voices off and on since I was a child.

I was diagnosed with having psychosis just before I turned 22 in November 2016. I’ve been psychotic to some degree since I was a child, though. Still no specific dx yet, but I want to see a non-university pdoc. Those people have always been reluctant to diagnose much of anything. A formal dx would help tremendously with my coping.

I got sick when I was 19 never started having hallucinations until age 25 got diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at age 27 I think it was caused by marijuana wish it never happened. I’m now 32

1997 I was 35. I am now 56.
I began hearing voices and having delusions at 11 years old, and was diagnosed at around 12 or 13.
I began having delusions n hallucinations in 2016 n was diagnosed in Oct 2016. I’m 29 now
January 2001. Fought up until 2003 when I finally caved in took meds. Blurs between here and there.

In '04, age 18, I was diagnosed with psychotic depression, but looking back that was almost certainly the beginning of the sz. Even my current pdoc agrees, given how things played out, that’s the most likely scenario. But I was officially diagnosed sz in '12 at age 25.

It was Dec 1991. 24yo. Full-blown psychotic episode. Contents mostly mythical and New Age: Sasquatch, UFOs, and religious delusions. I was in a waking dream. It responded to Haldol, with neck seizing side effect. Later switched to Orap, and stayed on that over 25 yrs. Now on Vraylar and reasonably stable.

Symptoms started in 1999 when I was 20. Wasn’t diagnosed until I was 23 in 2002 after a psychotic episode.
started getting progressively worse and showing more psychotic symptoms starting in late 2015 at age 16, worsened until being put on antipsychotics in late/mid 2016 at age 17, finally diagnosed properly with a psychotic disorder in 2017 right before i turned 18
