At the duck pond today

My dog and I sometimes feed the ducks at the local pond.

The ducks run away at first afraid of my dog then they come close and get fed bread .
They are in water while my dog and I stand on wood.

Today a man was sitting feeding the ducks anc started hating and disrespecting me because he thought my dog was scaring the ducks away.

I explained that my dog and i usually feed them.

Then I gave the man my bread and said you feed them then and left.

So wasn’t a long stay.

Meeting hate and disrespect with kindness and respect gets tiring but it’s called being a good person which many see as weak and dumb.

Maybe i should have stayed and kept my bread and fed the ducks myself.

He was an old lonely grumpy hateful man and I never hate my haters back.

Maybe he needed some kindness.
Maybe he saw me as weak and dumb for being kind but I think I did the right thing.

I turn other cheek and avoid and be kind and respectful .
Also the real bad ones should not have access to me.

I always thought the person I want to be is as is.

If that man is ever there again then my dog and I may stick to other side of duck pond.

On the bright side another man said good morning to me.:slightly_smiling_face:

I did not get to feed the ducks because I gave my bread to the angry hateful man .

I’ll feed the ducks another day hopefully.:slightly_smiling_face:

Sitting and feeding birds is my only exit from flat…
It’s just coincidence,who knows what that man has on his soul…

He may be lonely or in pain or having a difficult time.

You need a bit kindness in life.
By giving him bread you show your’s (kindness)…

I don’t dare travel overseas.

I don’t dare travel .

Can’t afford a vacation and even if I could I’m afraid of getting bully vibed or anxiety or unwell.

Maybe my boyfriend and I can have an outing a hour from where I live.
If I don’t feel well we can leave immediately.

Have you any holidays planned?

I don’t have friends as such or not that I can chat with or meet but I have a boyfriend.
