At Bernie rally

I currently do not support any of those in the running, but I figured this would be interesting to witness.

All I know is that I’ll vote democrat. I wasn’t gonna vote but once trump stared getting on his feet I felt more obliged to decide to vote. I still need to register though.

Donald Trump is very scary. If I lived in the U.S. I would vote Democrat.

I don’t really lean either way. I just wonder what they do at rallies…

anyone wanna hear my Bernie impression?

I’ll post it either way…

@sharp how was it?!

I voted for him in the primary but didn’t really follow the whole shebang. He’s the sort I’d generally vote for anyway, but what it looks like is that I’ll probably be voting for the last person in the world I’d ever think I’d be casting a ballot for which is Hillary, anything but Trump…the W Bush years were scary enough as it was.

I also went to a bernie rally!! I waited in the hot sun for two hours. Finally, the people opened the doors two hours early since we’d all have had to wait an additional two hours in the heat with no bathroom and only kindly volunteers handing out complimentary bottles of water to us in line.

Inside it was hot, the people were grumpy, we all just wanted the sun to go down and bernie to come out.

A man in the middle of the venue stood up on his chair and stripped off his shirt to a song being played from the speakers while we waited for the rally to start. Everybody clapped and cheered. When the song was over, he sat back down and he got a thunderous applause as he sat.

Every time that song came on (and it was a playlist on a loop) that same man would stand up and add to his improvised dance. He stripped off his top shirt and belt, again. He threw his sunglasses into the audience and when the song ended, and he sat down again, he had to ask for that random person to please give him back his sunglasses.

The last time he danced, it was close to bernie time and a volunteer came by and firmly told him to stop dancing, stripping, and standing on his chair. He complied—then jumped back up and danced when the dude walked away! Finally, the dude came back and stood there, determined, until the man gave up and sat down, buttoning his shirt back up, having ripped it off and thrown it into the audience a minute earlier. Everybody, all 5,000+ people booed. It was awesome.

Bernie was awesome, too, very revolutionary like 1960’s style revolutionary.

But that guy with his strip tease really brought the house down!!
