If America votes in this man it will be declaring itself the laughing stock of the Western world.
True, and you can include the rest of the world there too.
can you imagine that guy with his finger on the button
I wouldn’t worry. (Following from a pair of Facebook post.)
The party will either figure out a way to get him out of the picture… or risk losing control of Congress =and= the White House to the “crazy socialists” and those who have manipulated =them= so effectively since Harry Truman was in office. That will be intolerable to those who “sponsor” their “race cars.” Guns are pretty likely being pointed even as we speak. (Figuratively.) . . . . . My fond hope is that – in time – those “race car sponsors” will figure out that it is two of =them= who made Trump happen. (Hey, Roger & Rupert! The genie’s outta the bottle. Whatcha gonna do now?)
[In another life] I watch the polls closely (see http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/).
My sense is that Trump speaks to (and perhaps for) 10 to 13 percent of those eligible to vote, and maybe 20 to 25 percent of those who will vote. One has to do some digging and simple math to get there, but do it I have. Moreover, though he may come to Cleveland next July with enough primary wins to bag the nomination, the number of organized scenarios to prevent that grows daily. Because the GOP needs a viable Presidential candidate to help with both fundraising and get-out-the-vote efforts in =other= campaigns. And there are 247 Republicans sitting in Congress, 18 senators and about a dozen GOP state governors who aren’t relishing the idea of riding The Donald’s coattails into oblivion right now. Worse for many of these guys and gals who are far more moderate than any of the Pres candidates, however, is the fact that the GOP has =no= viable candidates for Pres at this time. (Ask the guys in… Vegas.)
I’m voting for Bernie, Hillary or O’ Malley
If he gets elected I won’t be laughing. He will have control of thousands of megatons of nuclear bombs. The only reason I haven’t had a heart attack already is because I don’t think he could ever be elected.
Hilary Clinton will be the next future president in this race. I am confident in this belief because the Clintons themselves are very popular in the nation and also this would mean the first woman in politics to win a presidency. Hands down, Hilary Clinton !
I’d vote for him, but mainly for the entertainment value.

Easier to say when you don’t live in the United States!
I don’t even live in USA and I hope he doesn’t get in.
In spite of my shamefully male chauvinistic nature, I hope you’re right.
Your economy crashes, and Canada feels it. I used to have healthy print sales to the U.S. before the current Idiot In Chief was elected and he tanked your economy. Really can’t get any worse at this point – the U.S. is in an unavoidable default condition. The one election issue no one dares discuss.

Let’s all talk about religion. (leaves room to avoid ensuing chaos)
That’s what my friend says. “If we owe china a trillion dollars (i dont now how much exactly), but, if we owe china x amount of dollars, we have no power over china.” he says trump is proven to know how to manage money and that’s why he makes a good candidate. I will follow the debates the next year before deciding who I vote for.
The dude can’t even manage his own hair. How is he going to manage a whole country?
He came two inches away from going bankrupt two or three times.
Then he’d fit right in with the rest of our recent prez’s
But seriously, got your point…
I’ll probably end up voting libertarian again…wasted vote? idc, its why i switched to republican, so I could vote for Ron Paul in last elections primaries.
It’s not Obama’s fault that the economy is stifling, the Republican Congress is blocking any gains to the economy and has done it singlehandedly.
Dem books be cooked.
