those places are financially unsustainable. What happens when your money runs out?

I would think long and hard about it. I hear the food is terrible in those places and they are very expensive. They will take everything you have.

I lived in one for around 4 to 6 months. They’re not all that bad. The one I was in was okay. I’ve also lived in independent living facilities. My thoughts are you will do well in that setting. Look around for more than a single assisted living facility before you decide. Some are really nice places, others, well they’re okay.
