I thought neat was the only way until I realized that, when you are super tidy, every time something is missing you panic like you’ve been invaded by an alien. Messy people are used to looking for stuff every day.

I’m very messy. I would put myself in the bottom 10% of neatness. There are guys who are worse than me, though. One time I was living with this guy, and he was doing things like leaving a half eaten plate of spaghetti sitting on the coffee table. When I told him about it he said, “Well you left these dirty dishes by the sink.”

Semi-neat in common areas when expecting company. Without company grows messy. Room is tidy.

I’m good a tidying, but bad at cleaning, unless I expect company, then I have to do a cleaning haul.

A bit of both, I kinda pick area’s and deep clean them lately
I am moderately messy but not in a dirty unhygienic sort of way. I don’t like things too tidy in my room it kind of doesn’t feel comfortable.
Sometimes I let the dishes pile up in the sink. Cleaning floors is also not my specialty.
But in reality I do a hell of a lot keeping this house up, by myself
I’m less messy here than I was at my last place. Part of it is due to having downsized. Part also having as stepdaughter who’d be on my case if I turned the flat into a crap pile.

Ive gotten more messy the last few years. I used to be better at that.
My art studio is a disaster, but I seem to be more creative in the chaos. I try not to let it spill out into other areas of the house…

I find it comforting having a little bit of mess, I like to do that like keep things I will need regularly on the floor near to my bed. And I’m more accepting about keeping an empty dish or two in my room. Instead of running up n down the stairs like a manic non stop. We have cats so if the smell of the food brings mice the cats will sort it.

I will let the flat go for a week or 2 before it gets too bad - then i will spend a hour or 2 cleaning. I always wash up the dishes before bed tho - and chuck bleach down the loo.
Dust is my enemy - i seem to get loads of it lol.
I’m fairly tidy.
I’m more on the neat and tidy side. I don’t clean as much as I’m supposed to but I hate being messy. I can’t cope with clutter

I could be neater in some areas of the house, but I clean every day so most things stay pretty neat. I enjoy cleaning though. I’m an odd egg that way.
