Ever since I started taking Abilify I feel sick when I eat or drink and I’m dizzy a lot. Are these side effects of Abilify or is it something else? I don’t know is this has anything to do with it but I switched from zyprexa 15 mg and zyprexa always made me really hungry and thirsty. Maybe that’s why I feel sick now?
Yes they are… Not everyone can tolerate abilify!
I threw up everywhere on the phyc ward, so I’m back on olanzapine.

It’s possible these will go away with time (like in a month or so)

Occasionally I’ll feel dizzy. And I dunno if it’s weight gain, increased appetite, or dry mouth but I’ve gotten a lot heavier since taken it. Still feels better than some other things. Good luck.

Mild sedation. I feel non-energetic all the time even with stimulants.
These antipsychotics are powerful medications, you should expect that adjusting to them will take some time.

i was on abilify 5mg but discontinued due to lot of restlessness (akathesia) …it is less sedative than other antipshycotics it causes mild sedation…may be the restlessness will fade way after 1 month or more …while changing medicines one experiences lot of side effects and withdrawal effects of current medicine in your case it is withdrawal effects of zyprexa i guess not sure though…check with your pdoc
