I’m starting with my Masters next week and it’s time to apply for scholarships.
I applied for a full scholarship of the Belgian Government for disabled people a month ago. I should know more in January. I also applied for 1 £1000 grant and for 1 £500 bursary.
I’m going to do a MSc in Mental Health Science at The Open University. I requested funding in the context of socioprofessional reorientation from Riziv. But they already requested why I opted for a UK degree and not a Belgian one. So, I’m not sure if I’ll get the funding.
I will post it as soon as I know more.
Anyway. My learning platform opens on January 4th. So, then I can start studying.
Awesome! Scholarships are a great way to cover school expenses. I’ve got to apply for some myself. How do you know if you’ve been selected and how is the money awarded? Do you know?
Regarding the Government scholarship the advising doctor of social security will inform me if they want to fund my degree. I should receive a response in the beginning of next year.
The Grant is from a Fund which is linked to my uni and they will mail me only in May whether I have it or not.
I just thought now I have time to better make an effort. It could save me some money @bittercat .
