I’ve had my iMac since 2018 so now 5 years and its super reliable, never crashes. I think my Magic Mouse is the most reliable as no problems with that too with no leads. It’s wireless and bluetooth. Works every time. People say Apple products are overpriced but think they’re amazing. I will always but Apple. Are you android or apple? How android products?
I don’t like google. Apple fan.
Apple is super expensive. It is for rich. I used to have MacBook pro seconds. It was very sturdy and long lasting until hdd after an OS upgrade went bad after 3 years or so.
I prefer the Android OS on phones. I’m partial to Samsung. For PCs I like Dell and ASUS hardware. I run mostly Windows with some Linux. I don’t mind the Apple OS, but I find their hardware to be too expensive for what it can do. I can get 1/3 more performance dropping the same dosh on a Wintel system.
But will Android last as long as apples computer products. I have not used windows in 13 years and back then they only lasted 3 years max before you needed upgrading and also buying secondary ani-virus software. I’m using apple for 13 years and never purchased ani-virus software and I get longevity and a beautiful designed product…
Samsung does. Longer actually because Samsung doesn’t intentionally obsolete hardware like Apple does. A friend of mine had to get rid of two older iMacs. There was nothing wrong with them other than Apple deciding not to support them. This forces customers to upgrade if they need to use newer software. He tossed ten-year-old Macs but I’m still using ten-year-old PCs.
Whoops.
Apple products are probably the only thing I could be accused of buying things for myself that might be over the top
However, I enjoy them, and happy with the build quality and ease of use
I’m also an Apple fan.
I’ve got a MacBook, iPhone and iPad.
I like several apps including Apple Music.
Edit: I also have an Apple Watch
I’ve an iphone and find it easy for me to use. Costs a lot but pay it off with a plan. Would never consider a macbook and never used macos. Always been a pc person since I was a teenager and pcs were new and it’s just so much cheaper to build intel pc’s that are cheaper and more powerful than mac specs.
Do you have apple iCloud @Jonathan2? I like apple iCloud for my emails and I can organise my emails into folders for holidays. I find Hotmail ■■■■ and I get loads of random advertising with hotmail and starting to get jumkmail. With iCloud mail I don’t get anything like that.
I don’t think the more base model computers are overpriced…i got a new macbook air on sale for $799…most other comparable computers were more. The phones tho, i’d never pay 1200 for a phone…200 or 300 max and only cause they last so long.
I buy the phones referbished and a few models old and they last years.
I have iCloud for storing documents. But I use gmail for mails.
I brought a MacBook Air M1 for £1000 which I thought was good, it was an amazing machine but I never used it because I prefer my iMac because of its larger screen. I never used the M1 on holiday which I thought I would. I use my iPhone 11 Pro the most. I’m getting the iPhone 15 pro? in September but buying it out right.
I am a fan Google Pixel and Apple. I chose Apple though cos I prefer most apps to be on apple
I have a MacBook M1. It’s my first apple product. I’m happy with it. It’s a little bit overkill for my needs 512gb storage 16gb ram.
These days you don’t need a lot of storage because everything is available through stream or cloud.
I like the fact that it’s easy to rent movies on MacBook. You just click and they charge you and the movie becomes available.
I like the neat design.
My Mac has never crashed or had an issue. Which is weird. It’s always on and it has never failed me.
I think there is a reason why Apple is the most valuable company by market cap in the world.
Even people on disability spend their money on their products.
@Jonathan2 I’m on disability and always buy Apple. Everything Apple but can’t see myself spending £500 their apple ear things, you know the big ones that cover your whole ears with noise cancelling technology.
I don’t know why I bought a Mac? I needed something portable. My 15 year old PC works but it’s stationary. I have become tired of sitting by the desk. I have my Mac on my table and I lie on the couch.
I bought a 2020 MacBook Air. I like it much better than my HP or Dell.
It’s sturdy too, I stupidly dropped it or knocked it off the bed a few times and nothing broke. Never have had to bring it in for repair and it’s all paid off. Got it on credit for 0% interest for the first 1 1/2 years.
I got free AirPods when I bought my MacBook.
I like them and nothing beats free!
