Since I’ve been back my appetite has slowly been increasing even worse than normal and I’m gaining weight. I’ve gained 10 pounds in 2 months. When I’m eating I already start thinking about what I’m going to be eating next. I’m totally food obsessed. I don’t know what to do. I made an appointment with my Dr. next week to get some phentermine as a desperation attempt but I doubt it will do much good. What should I do to tame my appetite? I fear it’s emotional eating and it’s only going to get worse with current events.
I scare myself into not binge eating by getting a bit of insight into the diseases caused by excess weight.

For me personally wat works wen I’m trying to lose is all or nothing approach. I chuck out every piece of junk food.
And obviously calorie control.
And plenty of water to keep me full

Since I’ve been on Olanzapine I’ve been food obsessed also. It’s difficult to lose weight on this drug. I’m hungry all the time.
The best thing you can do aside from getting to the source of the appetite change is when you get hungry fill up on healthy foods. So instead of going out and getting and eating a box of donuts eat a few apples. Or drink a ton of water. Core power protein shakes can be filling and they are fairly low calorie and low sugar. Milk is filling.
