I have been told twice on social media. It looks really convincing. I ask to get a direct number to make sure cause I have to pay transfer taxes. Don’t know, scams are so mean. Makes me haywire. Dam it’s Sunday.

It’s a scam. They did this to my 83 year old Auntie who has dementia. It really upset her that we wouldn’t let her pay this fee. Don’t fall for it.

I was told once I won a $1000 Walmart gift card. I fell for it, and it was a scam.

I looked up for these promo wins on the net. It says they are scammers saying they are representatives from big companies. It has a phone number I can call to find out if it’s legitimate. Anyway, I report these people on Monday. Playing with my mind. It has a huge impact on me. About why shouldn’t I be lucky being stucked with sz. I already got gambling issues. My partner was in tears till she and friends convinced me to ban myself from the casino. So mean.

I’ve fallen for those scams. Its about just as bad as if someone were to steal your physical ID like happened to me but I dont know if they ever committed fraud with it. I reported my stolen purse online to the police where it happened. The department was nice and said wrote back they had processed my report so if someone tries to use my ID it will prob. be resolved.
Sorry about your experience. Those are the worst!! I have been so upset because they prey on our hopes with those scams.

I reported it today. There is an government agency here dealing with this issue.
They tried the original scam on me. The Nigerian scam where they say I won a large amount of money - but they wanted me to pay money to get it. I recognized the scam immediately and I thought it was cool that they tried the most famous scam on me, lol.

Yea there’s probably going to be a ton of scammers popping up with inflation on the rise and people in financial need … if it sounds too good to be true it probably is lol

I get the amazon one quite often - as in ive been charged 79.99 for the yearly prime membership. First thing i do is google the number, and usually its already been reported as a con.
Dumb really, cos my prime is paid via my phone contract, where i only pay 4 quid a month on an entertainment deal.

I get these scammers regular now, too many to report. I tell them I am happy, I got plenty of money for food,shelter,clothes and insurance. Give the money to charity like amnesty international, global goals,worldvision.
