I don’t hear voices, but can get a rogue inner dialogue that messes me up. Far from everybody hear external voices.

I don’t have auditory hallucinations. Just persecutory delusions. And anxiety.

I recently started getting the odd one or two time voices when you’re drifting off to sleep.

One time it said ‘thingy’.

And I am bothered by that but I guess it was just me obsessing over the size of my … well… penis.

Lololol!!

I heard them when I was unwell. Since being medicated, I only hear them very occasionally. Just a random comment here and there.

voices are only one of the symptoms. I heard them for years on a weekly basis but I was untreated and under a lot of stress. today I hardly hear or see something because I treat my self. and more than that, my sz had been changed and other symptoms appearing with a smaller amount of voices.
but to your question: there is enough symptoms instead of voices for diagnose a sz. so you are cool

I haven’t heard voices for more than 10 years. I possibly still meet the diagnoistic criteria for schizophrenia because I have negative symptoms, and I debatably have had delusions.

Wouldn’t that technically mean you’re recovered?

I hear them now, even stable on meds, when I’m in a place with noise, I hear them thru the noise a ways away, usually my name screamed over and over, and other vivid conversations that I shouldn’t be hearing because of this noise. sometimes I hear westerns on t.v. coming from the living room when my box fan is on me in my bedroom, and no t.v. is on.
@Ninjastar says this is not related to schizophrenia, but idk, why doesn’t anyone else get this.
I had to quite a factory job because of it, this loud noise.

It can be schizophrenia. It can also be tinnitus. NTs get it all the time.

Lots of people don’t hear voices who have had pyschosis.

I will occasionally hear the sound of conversations, but they arent voices that talk to me directly or instruct me or even use actual words. So I don’t consider them “voices” in the same sense that most people who hear voices do.
