Same thing here, my parents are tired of me.
If I do it again they won’t visit me at the hospital and won’t let me live at home.
Anti-psychotic medication for life for me. 10 years of injections.
Went off meds and almost died.
how r u doing now then. died u mean sucided?
I’m afraid and paranoid of hospitals, so I take my meds
The answer is no
I didn’t take my meds consistently, but it basically causes you to change your delusions, and u almost get used to them to the point where it either really bothers you or you try to play it off
After my first episode I recovered and came off meds in 2007. Lasted five years off meds then in 2012 I relapsed and been on meds ever since. I tried several times after that to come off meds but relapsed every time and sometimes even landed up in hospital. I wonder if I’d ever be able to come off meds again but I doubt it because apparently the more episodes one has, the more likely one needs to stay on meds.
By died meaning ended up in a very horrific car accident only got a scratch on my pinky. No suicide attempt ever.
If I don’t take my meds two days in a row, I start to slide. Doesn’t work for me.
How long before you relapse after you have stopped the medication?
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
