I live a couple of blocks from town and shops.
Decided to take a walk and pick up something for my Dads car.
I usually never walk into town but have decided to do some more walking from now on.
It breaks up the monotony.
Anyone else walk into town?
I do sometimes.
I just have to be careful not to get too much stuff because you have to walk all the way back home with all the crap you bought.
I learned to bring an empty backpack.
Not me. I get a taxi. It happens about once a month when I get my meds.
I’ve now stopped walking around town too. I just get my meds and leave.
Unfortunately Iits too far for me to walk to town and shops. But I do take walks around my neighborhood.
I live in town now. Little place. I go for walks or bike rides a lot. I borrow my daughter’s trike with a basket when picking up stuff.
I live to far from town to walk. But I miss sometimes the convenience of living in town.
Yes but not more than a mile. The fresh air and sunshine does me good but I’m still on guard. I think Everytime I am helping the environment also
Yes I always walk into town. I enjoy it because I’m on busy roads where no one can harass me or follow me. If I do suspect someone following me, I ditch walking and go into a safe building
It’s 0.8 miles each way for me to do that, just a little too far to be fun. Gets me to the shopping center with the grocery store, and four food places that I don’t like, and the Pizzeria that I do like. In case anyone was wondering, the four food places I don’t care for are Subway, Chipotle, Asian Grill, and McDonald’s.
There’s a Starbucks up there, but it’s pretty expensive.
From time to time when I have money, I go to a plaza near me and buy me something nice.
I was too busy to walk into town today.
