Anyone using an AI search engine?

I’m currently using Bard by Google and I really love it!

It’s really addictive!

Anyone else?

Which ones are you guys using?

I use bing with chatGPT integration.

The novelty has worn off a bit for me though.

Not yet. I use pure ChatGPT. I use traditional Bing and Google.

I was using it a bit to test its knowledge on mental illness and medications. I sent feedback on some of the responses that weren’t up to par. Devs probably think I’m annoying with my critiques :laughing:

This was on ChatGPT, btw.

I am trying to use it a bit each day until I figure out optimal ways of using it productively and creatively.

Today i searched how to link excel tables into my outlook calendar.
And it just gives simple step by step instructions.

Like I could google it but I want my information path for learning to be more optimal. Which really is about getting good at prompts for the chat bot.

I’ve used chatGPT for some searches and really liked the outcome. It was mainly helping me to explain pseudoscience techniques in a clear and level headed way.

Currently I don’t know what to use it for and am back to Google. But I guess I will use both in the future!

I guess I had no idea AI search was a thing. Will look into it.

I used this prompt

I want you to act as a stand-up comedian. I will provide you with some topics related to current events and you will use your wit, creativity, and observational skills to create a routine based on those topics. You should also be sure to incorporate personal anecdotes or experiences into the routine in order to make it more relatable and engaging for the audience. My first request is “I want an humorous take on politics.”

And was extremely impressed!

I have no idea what it even is or does. But it sounds like something I’d like to avoid.

I tried to use chatGPT to find citations for my studies, it provided some quotes that were excellent for my purposes with the source and page number. I checked the source and nothing like the quotes provided was there. I told the AI it wasn’t there. It admitted it had lied to me, but provided new quotes that it had checked on the source. Again, it wasn’t there. It’s part of the machinery to please you rather than provide truth.

Good point I feel like it’s more focused on the appearance of what it presents then the actual matter of it
