- None, I don’t use A.I.
I like using Facebooks Meta AI
I use a a search engine called brave that comes with an ai chatbot called leo.
I love AI. I use a couple of them. One with my language app JumpSpeak. And the ChatGPT app Nova.
Mostly Copilot at work. We have a safe version that protects privacy of data entered. I use it for help with composing letters to clients. I have a set of prompts I just customize. Cuts down on time wasted for me.
I’ll keep avoiding AI for as long as it can’t tell me something humans don’t already know.
I mean I meddled with it to see what it was about for a little bit. Not impressive enough to keep my attention long term. The technology as a whole needs more time in the oven.
In my current job tutoring, it’s a problem with students who use it to write their essays.
I’ve just cancelled my Gemini subscription and will be using chatgpt from now on.
I’m really shocked about the worldwide power consumption of AI
I don’t think it’s worth it, getting stupid and destroying nature.
Can someone give me some positives about AI please ?
The only two I’ve used so far are Copilot, and My heritage’s AI record finder. Copilot gives conflicting info re AI record finder. Clicking on one of the links below the thumb etc icons tells me it was discontinued due to not matching user expectations. Clicking on another link tells me it’s still available.
I know you study physics. Have you used o1/strawberry yet? I’m curious how it handles those kinds of questions.
I don’t use AI either, and I get frustrated with it. For positives, I guess what I could say is there are likely going to be medical applications for diagnosing things more accurately, and finding more effective treatments. I just wish it wasn’t so built-in to so many systems, because it’s ruining search engines.
Nope, never heard of it. Is it AI?
One point to get some hope, I’ve heard about that too, I remember that they analyze acoustic signals from tech things to diagnose the error
Edit : why it’s ruining the search engines ?
Because it’s integrated in that ?
Because the whole first page of search results is often just ai generated articles that contain words similar to the words you type. And those articles may or may not be accurate. They’re usually just ads.
Yeah it’s open ai’s new “reasoning” model. Apparently it’s crushing most benchmarks and out performing humans in most tasks.
I’ll definitely try it
@Aimingatremission is it a part of chatgpt premium?
It helps me cut down on mundane writing of business letters and business emails so that I can spend more time analyzing insurance policies for missing coverages. It also helps me identify missing coverages so that I am providing better service to clients.
