I’ve decided not to eat as much meat. I refuse to pay $5/pound of hamburger and am looking to save money on my grocery bill. I’m usually one who will spend a lot on food cos I’m a foodie but $5/pound is just ridiculous and I won’t pay it.
From your posts and comments I get that you’re a good cook. I’m sure you can do great using less meat than before.
Well thank you
Good idea @Loke
Just consume dairy and beans for protein
I’ve been a vegetarian for 9 years!
No, I just spend more money.
There is very very few fruits and vegetables that I actually enjoy. I can probably count them on one hand.
French style green beans
Mashed potatoes
Corn
Carrots (kind of iffy on those)
Red delicious apples
I don’t really like much else. I’ll tolerate some things, for example the beef stew I buy comes with celery chopped up in it, I don’t really like it though.
I eat primarily vegan, with a couple of occasional exceptions (sushi, non-vegan baked goods).
I’m a vegetarian, but I can’t become a vegan because I love cheese and don’t like vegan cheese.
