Anyone take gabapentin?

Was just prescribed gabapentin by my primary care physician for some nerve pain.

I took my first dose last night and found that it made me eerily calm.

Does anyone take it for anxiety?

I once asked my pdoc for gabapentin, he told me its not for me and i will be sleeping all day on it

I take Pregabalin, which is the same sort of drug I think to what you’re taking. It’s for nerve pain also, but I take it for anxiety. Works well
