I’ve had plaque psoriasis on the back of my scalp for years now. Now recently I’ve gotten a patch of eczema or psoriasis right under my left eye. It’s a tiny patch but still irritating. The skin gets all flaky and dry. You can barely see it, but I wonder if my skin care products make it worse. I was able to do a Teladoc visit where you take pictures of the area and describe what’s going on and they can prescribe as needed. So I did that and now have a prescription ointment to use as well as Cereve face wash and Vanicream moisturizer. I normally use fancy skincare products but apparently these will be better.
Moving to Health and Recovery.
I used to get psoriasis when i was stressed out, but that was years ago. It would all be up in my scalp, all flaky and raining down every time i scratched my head. Now, once in awhile, I’ll get patches on my eyebrows, but that’s it.
I have had sensitive skin and eczema my whole life, primarily on exposed areas such as the face and neck (so probably due to allergies). It seems to have gotten better with age. The only moisturizer my skin will tolerate is aquaphor.ointment
