It’s a very controversial documentary. There are instances of just very bad science accompanied by lies. For example, there was a scene where they’re talking about damage to his liver from the fast food, but he had omitted that he was a heavy drinker which he addressed in his me too post.
I’m sure all the McDonalds definitely didn’t help, but yes I heard he was an alchoholic.
@Squanchy is correct. The documentary is a little dated and some of the information in it was pretty sensationalized.
I mean if you ate nothing but turnips, or anything for that matter, for 30 days you would become pretty unhealthy.
It may have been sensationalized but I’m pretty sure you could isolate literally any fruit or vegetable, eat it exclusively for a month and it would still be healthier then eating nothing but fast food for 30 days.
Honestly, anything is better than fast food. But even if you get fast food, just eat a little bit and save the rest for other days. That’s what I do with pizza. I’ll buy a whole pizza, bake the entire thing, eat one piece, and save the other pieces for other days. Works quite well.
