This movie is wonderful, but depressing. It’s depressing how fast food places whom know how unhealthy their food is and target young children to be addicted to this food at a young age through cartoon characters and toys.
It’s also sad that America is the most unhealthy country in the world.
Despite how depressing the film is it is enjoyable to watch and shows you how bad this food is for you.
I saw it a long time ago. I think the movie is a little misleading in some of it’s info. I mean, I know McDonald’s isn’t the most healthy food on the planet, but if you only ate anything else for 30 days you would probably get health problems too.
That movie came out when I was involved in sort of activist activities, and guys like him and Michael Moore sort of defined that time for me in the early mid 2000s. I don’t really care about any type of issues like environmental/ social health anymore, as I am really apathetic. The early 2000s had a real strong feel for activism for me, but I was not really an effective activist.
I used to love McDonald’s. Did all my life. But recently I ordered takeout from McDonald’s and got one of my usual Big Macs, small fries and a medium diet, and everything was very cold, hard and stale! Very gross. And I had to pay over $20 for just that!! I’ll never order from McDonald’s again!
I read up on nutrition and no other country in the world allows so many additives, preservatives and chemicals as the US allows. Food is overall cleaner in other countries.
