I am up, it’s 6am here and just having a bit of peace and quiet before the day starts.
Plenty of cigarettes and coffee with a bit of Foo Fighters at the moment.

Just listennig to radio. I gave up smoking. Used to smoke 40 a day. Are you in UK? What you doing for Christmas day?

Yeah I live in UK as well. I live in North Wales. Yeah it can be hard to give up smoking. I finally manage to drink without smoking. I’m just having christmas with mum, dad, sister, brother, brother’s girlfriend and her kids. I’m listening to bbc 3. Are you schizophrenic?

Yep, I have been having psychosis since I was 17. What about you?
What age are you now? How many times have you been in hospital. I’ve had psychosis 4 times and have been in hospital 4 times. First one at 26 and last one 32. 34 now. Did you feel depressed after your psychotic episodes?
I am 31 now. Lost count to be honest. Probably about 10 times or maybe a few more. I have been so out of it at times it’s hard to remember everything that has happened.
I feel pretty depressed at the moment to be honest. I lack meaning at the moment and I am pretty frustrated. I had a bit of an issue a few weeks ago and no one was around to support, and I got a bit fed up with the CMHT.

SInce having my first psychosis have fetl really depressed lacking motavation to do basic things like washing and cooking but feel a lot better recently. Cmonig off meds in a few months. Are you on meds?
Hi all. I’m in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, and it’s 12:25am here. I’m 59 years old and have been schizophrenic since 1981, when I was first hospitalized. I was 21 years old.
Yeah I have been on loads of different meds.
I take 800mg of Amisulpride at the moment what about you?

I only take 5mg of Risperidone. I haven’t heard of Surprise.

It’s not licensed in the US Amisulpride.
I like it, it’s a good drug. Doesn’t make me too sleepy and not a great deal of side effects.
The worst it can do to you is movement problems, but nothing yet for me.
How do you find Risperidone? I couldn’t tolerate that med at all
